I recently had the pleasure of doing an in-depth interview on the Freight Project Podcast where I discussed the ability of the Tive Platform to bring real-time, load-level visibility to in-transit shipments to shippers and 3PLs.
You can listen to the full podcast here: https://cerasis.com/end-to-end-supply-chain-visibility/
In this wide-ranging discussion, I cover everything from the genesis of Tive, which I began as a way to helping my father in-law track his trucks at G&G Trans LLC, to some of the key drivers for Tive’s quest to improve supply chain visibility.
Among the topics covered are how Tive is helping its customers to:
- Extend end-to-end supply chain visibility beyond the inventory tracking inside factories, DCs warehouses, stores, and onto inventory tracking while products are in-transit.
- Easily implement visibility by integrating with their existing TMS providers.
- Optimize their supply chains for competitive advantage with cost savings, lower insurance rates, and reduced safety stock.
- Break through the industry-standard of ~30% visibility/compliance and start to to achieve full 100% visibility on all in-transit shipments.
Ultimately, we discuss how Tive is becoming the supply chain visibility blood stream that sits alongside other processes. By taking advantage of technology, such as cellular-connected trackers that sense the location and condition of products and a cloud-based platform, Tive is able to facilitate a significant improvement to supply chain operations.
I hope you enjoy this podcast.
